We love BMW news! At BMW of Freehold, our favorite thing to do is sell new BMWs, but we love hearing model news and seeing the latest spy photos. Design sketches of the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe have surfaced and the employees at this NJ BMW dealer are all over it! A concept version of this BMW was revealed last year, but now we’re witnessing the slow unveiling of the real deal. Read on for more information and to see some of the drawings.

These new design sketches show the new BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe in all it’s pre-release glory. The sketches reveal that the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe will be taking plenty of design cues from BMW’s 4-door Coupe. The sketches show that the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe will feature a newly designed bumper with different reflectors and tail pipes.
The same basic structure of the 5 Series, 7 Series and 5 GT are clearly echoed in the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe. The new BMW offers a mix of 6 and 8 cylinder petrol and diesel engines, as well as an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
A 4-door Coupe with a sporty style, the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe features a roof that is lower than the 7 Series and the same iconic BMW elements you’ve come to expect, such as the kidney-grille and Hofmeister kink.
The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe will makes its debut in 2012, but for now, you’ll just have to check out these awesome sketches!
