As far as performance goes, the 2012 BMW 3 Series M Sport Edition gets a modified vehicle suspension, and numerous visual upgrades. The M Sport Edition features a shadow line window finisher and a body-color rear diffuser which provides added optimization to the car’s sleek properties, and an additional sporting touch. At press time, it remains unknown if BMW will offer both of the exclusive models for the US market.
The BMW 3 Series Coupe and BMW 3 Series Convertible will put an even more stylish foot forward in Exclusive Edition trim. An especially eye-grabbing feature of this package is the 18-inch V-spoke light-alloy wheels highlighted in Space Grey paint. Customers can choose from the exclusive exterior paint shade Mineral Grey, or any one of the other color options available. Exterior mirrors capped in Oxide Silver add further color accents.
Dakota leather upholstery has a defining influence on the interior ambiance. The seats can be ordered in the exclusive color Pearl Grey with gray contrast stitching or in Black with white contrasted stitching. Floor mats with color-coordinated pipe stitching make the perfect accompaniment. And finally, the Exclusive Edition specification also contains interior trim strips in Bamboo Grain Anthracite.
M Sport Edition adds another level of sporty capability to the BMW 3 Series Coupe and BMW 3 Series Convertible. M Sport suspension teams up with other equipment features to instill even greater intensity into the lively driving experience. The BMW M3 exclusive Silverstone paint finish and 18-inch Ferric Grey light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design give the car’s sporting qualifications a greater visual presence.
Once inside, bucket seats with M detailing, an M Sport steering wheel, stainless steel foot pedals and an M aluminum driver’s footrest point to the exclusiveness of the model. Dakota leather seat covers with blue stitching and special “M” piping further enhance the elegance of the interior. Model-specific interior strips in Aluminum Glacier Silver and floor mats with matching blue piping set the seal on the M Sport Edition package.
